This farmland has access from the main coastal road linking Puerto Plata with Samana and is only a five minute drive to Cabarete. The largest dairy in the area is in Sosua which is no more than 10 minutes away. Farming is tax free in the Dominican Republic and most purchases of milk is paid in cash.
