Hamezi is a vibrant village only a 10 minute drive to the coastal town of Sitia and to many shops, super markets, hospital, pharmacies, bus station and also close to some very nice beaches. The house is at the west part of the village and enjoys nice views of the Sitia bay as well as the surrounding mountains.

Sitia is situated at the North East end of Crete. It is a quiet but very pretty town surrounded by some of the best beaches on the island. Due to the distance to the international airport of Heraklion, Sitia is never overcrowded by tourists and visitors. Close to Sitia are the famous palm beach of Vai, the Minoan settlement of Zakros and many other sites.
