The house is located in a residential area with detached and terraced houses. It is located northeast of the airport Schönefeld BER. In westerly winds, which according to the weather service and the airport authority in Berlin prevail for 2/3 of the year, the planes fly a route over Blankenfelde-Mahlow and cannot be heard. In easterly winds, the route runs over Müggelsee and the planes can be heard.
