Description
This cosy newly renovated 1 bedroom is quiet and welcoming. This gem is located 1.5 km from the waterfront, yet central to the quiet Geestemunde neighbourhood with all the goods just a short walk away. The top floor balcony overlooks the bi-weekly marketplace. Fully equipped for longer stays, a week-long business trip or just a perfect weekend away. Children and dogs can play in the nearby parks. The room is fully equipped for babies to toddlers. The accommodation: This top floor lift 50m2 is best suited for 2 guests, but a small organised family/friends of 4 can be comfortable. SLEEPING FACILITIES: Both beds are 140 x 200 cm and firm. We use mattress protectors on each bed so we can keep the mattresses clean. For a child under 1.50 cm there is an inflatable mattress. For toddlers there is a fold-out cot available. (See pictures) There is an alarm clock with phone charging facility and Bluetooth functions. An Ikea Pax wardrobe with plenty of shelves and hanging space are available for guests. LIVING AREA: The living room and kitchen consist of an open space with a counter with 2 chairs and a dining table with seating for 6. A printer is provided for occasional use during a business trip as well as easy phone charging and computer power connection right on the counter. BATHROOM: Both washer and dryer are located in the bathroom. There is a good size shower with glass door and a small built-in bench. An automatic fan takes care of excess moisture, but guests are encouraged to open the window after showering to prevent moisture build-up. There are 2 cupboards above the small washbasin and toilet. There you will find the first aid kit as well as utensils such as hairspray, body cream, toothpaste, dental floss, etc. Under the washbasin is a washstand with detergent and additional toilet paper as well as toilet cleaning products. OUTSIDE AREA : The terrace is narrow but large enough to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine. The best light is in the morning as it faces east. Smoking is only allowed outside.
