The purpose is to sell the château with a running business, key in hand. The buyer can take over the business right away with income coming in and no renovation/installation work to be done. The château has been running as an event venue since May 2016 ( weddings, anniversaries, reunions etc ), the activities mainly between May to September/October. We are now expanding our activities to include seminars. The calendar from May to September 2021 is almost full and we have 3 weddings reserved for 2022 and inqueries for 2023 which I turn down at the moment because of the uncertainty of the sale.

The average income for a wedding is about 7000€ for a weekend including the rooms. This year 24 weddings have been reserved, that brings the annual gross income to about 168,000€. But with the covid-19, one wedding is cancelled and the rest are postponed to later this year or next year.

There are still rooms for the buyer to increase the revenue because with the change of land use granted in January this year, some parts in the park are constructible, that is the marquee can be replaced by an orangery/reception hall which can be used all year round. And more lodgings can be put in place to increase the total capacity of accommodation which is very sort after at weddings.
The part considered for the business represents 630 000 €, the rest being for the walls
