The manager’s residence consists of a 3-bedroom home which includes a recently remodelled kitchen and laundry plus a large external deck which is enclosed and offers a BBQ facility, a large lounge area plus a dining area. Views of the river and Mountains from this deck are absolutely stunning. The Main bedroom has a full ensuite bathroom plus and there is another bathroom with a shower for the guest rooms. The office/reception area is utilized as an office as well as a lounge area. This section can also easily be converted into additional guest residences with very little expense.

The total property size is 12164 sqm of which the building occupies approx—750 sqm under the roof. A large double garage is used by the owner / Manager while parking for the guests is available. There is a large pool situated on a large paved area which offers views from anywhere. There are 2 BBQ facilities located on the pool deck as well as a covered dining and seating area. Port Edward is a small resort town situated on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. It lies north of the Mtamvuna Gorge which includes the Mtamvuna River and is the border between KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape. It is situated on the R61 road between Port Shepstone and Lusikisiki.

The area includes Palm Beach, Glenmore and Leisure Bay. This is a pristine coastal area, which has natural attraction of the like of the Mpenjati Nature Reserve.

The first holiday cottage in Port Edward was a shack built among the sand dunes in the early days by transport rider Edward Stafford. Unaware of their motility, however, he was surprised and dismayed to see his fine creation swallowed up. The area was subjected to several name changes as property was bought and sold, but the practice came to an end in 1952 when the town of Port Edward was ceremoniously dedicated to the then Prince of Wales.
