The parish of Agualva is located in the city of Praia da Vitoria, between the parishes of São Brás, Vila Nova and Quatro Ribeiras.
Agualva maintains its cultural activities and traditions, such as the Holy Spirit Festivals and the Bodos, where you can enjoy the oxcarts, the delicacies made for the occasions.
The parish has one of the highest points of the island, Pico Alto, derived from its characteristics, you can enjoy springs that supply the mills still existing in the region and where together with them the Ribeira da Agualva Trail was created.
