Built in the 18th Century for a famous French noble family, this majestic castle was restored in the 1980s, following its purchase by the current owners, in order to restore all its refinement and elegance of yesteryear.
It is at the end of a magnificent alley that the castle welcomes us, its main building with a surface area of approximately 1600m2 on 2 levels proudly facing us.
Composed of a resplendent facade and surrounded by sumptuous gardens, it opens its doors to let us discover its succession of rooms with grandiose volumes, decorated with care and in keeping with the soul of the building. This part is completed by a reception room of approximately 220m2. The sumptuous gardens labeled 'remarkable gardens' created during the construction of the castle based on the plans of a Parisian architect of the time have been being reconstructed since 2022.
The exteriors are decorated with several remarkable elements, such as a fountain or a pond. Developing over 15ha (including 6.5ha of parkland) around the property, they create a unique atmosphere, frozen in time.
The interior
As we pass through the castle gates, its history unfolds before our eyes. Each of its rooms in a row tells us a part of it: the living rooms, the bedrooms, each decorated with wonderful pieces, such as chandeliers, and period furniture and paintings. These places are still imbued with the symbol of nobility that this castle was, directly inspired by the Palace of Versailles.
The lodgings
The Large gite: with an area of approximately 90 m2, it can accommodate up to 5 people.
The small gite: with an area of approximately 55 m2, it can accommodate 3 people.
Annexes Reflecting its grandeur, the castle has several annexed parts, thus increasing the possibilities of this place.
