Location: Cannaregio, Venice The Cannaregio sestiere is the second largest in Venice after Castello and the most populated. In this sestiere is the Ghetto di Venezia, which can be reached by crossing the Ponte delle Guglie bridge and walking along the Strada Nova, the main artery of the whole, leading from Santa Lucia station to Rialto. This approximately 25-minute journey begins at the foot of Ponte degli Scalzi and the church of Santa Maria degli Scalzi and ends in Campo dei Santi Apostoli.
