BiH (1) is a unique hybrid project in southern Bosnia & Herzegovina that combines solar energy (96 MWp/80 MWac) and wind power (36 MW). The project is being developed through an SPV in Banja Luka and is based on a 27-year concession for more than 130 ha of land, with an option to extend up to 50 years.
As of August 2025, ~85% of the development has been completed. Key approvals such as the regulatory plan, site, environmental, and grid connection permits have already been secured. The building permit for the PV plant is expected by September 2025, and for the wind farm and substation by Q1/2026 at the latest. This means that the project will reach RTB status by early 2026 at the latest.
The estimated total investment is EUR 121 million with expected annual net revenues of EUR 14.9 million. An optional BESS integration (40–50 MWh) is also prepared.
