Sea Remedies is a Portuguese parish of the municipality of Ponta Delgada, with 5.56 km² of area and 931 inhabitants (2011). Its population density is 167.4 inhabitants km².
The locality of Remédios has a road that connects it with the Monasteries and Ponta Delgada.
The main activity is agriculture. It is bathed by the Atlantic Ocean to the northwest. There's mountains to the southeast.
Currently, the majority of the population works in Ponta Delgada, with fewer and fewer jobs in the parish. It has had a good development, thanks to the efforts of various entities.
Last year (2006) a book was written and released with a historical collection made by the parish priest, Paulo Borges. The same book recounts the origins and changes of which the parish was targeted. - REF: 326/M/03171
