In the small and quiet Stöckte you still live with the stork in the immediate vicinity. Adjacent to the protected area of the Ilmenau lowlands, the frog concert is the only thing that disturbs the night's sleep. From the Landhaus Lotten you are only a few meters on the Stöckter Deich and have an unobstructed view of the Luhewiesen. After a few kilometers by bike you will reach the Elbe ferry in Hoopte. Hamburg's oldest ferry connection leads to the pier in Zollenspieker and from there to the Vier- und Marschlande. In the other direction, after a short time you are in the town of Winsen an der Luhe. Here you will find a variety of shops and the train station. The Metronom takes 25 minutes to Hamburg Central Station.
